Fluorite - Huanggangliang Complex, Inner Mongolia, China
From the very prolific Huanggangliang Mining Complex in Hexigten Banner, near Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Province, China, comes this rather unusually coloured Fluorite crystal cluster on Matrix. As a Mineralogist, I do not care for 'trade names' of minerals, but the word 'blueberry' is a very accurate description of these specimens. The deep blue color and the overlapping modified cubic crystal faces do indeed cause these crystals to resemble blueberries! The colour is completely natural - no waxing, dying, or other colour enhancements. Every specimen in my shop is guaranteed to be 100% natural. These rather unique specimens are held in high regard and are a must-have for any collection of fine minerals. Specimen comes mounted, labeled, and ready for your display.
