Tyuyamunite, Fluorite - Qinglong Mine, China

A very uncommon Hydrous Calcium Uranyl-Vanadate. Weakly fluorescent yellow under SW/UV lamps, and weakly fluorescent red under MW/UV lamps. From the big find in January 2026, this species is certain to draw the eyes of anyone checking out your collection. 

Minor Fluorite associated.  Tyuyamunite naturally loses water molecules over time, becoming the mineral Metatyuyamunite.

*Tyuyamunite is naturally emissive.  As with all naturally emissive specimens, it is not considered dangerous.  It becomes dangerous after it is processed and refined.  I still would not recommend licking or rubbing this specimen on your skin.  Do wash your hands after handling this specimen.
