The big Calcite find near Longyan, Fujian Province, China happened almost 9 years ago. Several others have happened in the area since then, and nice specimens are still coming out today. This specimen was recovered in NOV2017. A good-sized cabinet specimen with heft! The Calcite crystals are well-defined, 6-sided cyclic twinned crystals with flat terminations and darker areas more heavily included by Manganese. These Calcite specimens fluoresce wonderfully red under MW/UV light. Specimen comes labeled and ready for your display.
