Excellent assemblage of two generations of Sphalerite, a Sulfide of Zinc, with Galena, a Sulfide of Lead, on a Quartz crystal-coated Limestone matrix.
The second generation of Sphalerite shows rather large translucent crystals of a dark orange colour, while the first generation crystals are smaller and appear black.
The Galena shows perfect cubic crystallisation, with many showing penetration twinning.
