NearEarthExploration
Fine mineral specimens
Fine mineral specimens for teachers, students, collectors, and museums.
Whether you are a teacher needing material for class, a student needing something exciting and different for a project, a beginning collector wanting to upgrade your collection, or a seasoned collector wanting to show off something new that your friends don't have, you might want to take a look at what I have to offer.
This website shows a very small fraction of the specimens that I have on hand. If you don't see something, ask! If I don't have any here, after 40+ years as a geologist, I have friends and colleagues around the world. I could likely come up with some.

For collectors, museums, teachers, and students
Welcome to NearEarthExploration. I am a career Geologist and Mineralogist. I hold or have held licenses in several countries and from the United Nations. I am semi-retired and live in remote NorthEast China while continuing my duties as a Professor of Earth Sciences during the academic year.
Every specimen comes with a label detailing the species, chemical composition, and the locale from which it was recovered. Each specimen is guaranteed to be accurately identified in detail.
We have sold and shipped specimens for more than 30 years. Getting your new specimen to you whole and undamaged, no matter where you live, is a priority for every customer. Please ask any questions you have.
Authentic Specimens, Clearly Labelled
Fine mineral specimens
Every specimen that we sell is 100% authentic. No fake, man-made, glued, repaired, or 'enhanced' specimens. Specimens are cleaned appropriately for your display. Photographs are taken under the lights in my lab or workshop and are only edited for size and to add text. The photograph that you see posted is what the specimen looks like when it sits in your cabinet.
Every specimen comes with a label detailing the species, chemical composition, and the locale from which it was recovered.
All photos are taken by me and show the specimen as true as it can be. We have been selling and shipping specimens for more than 30 years.
